Some random musings... don't mind me.

25 straight days of rain, and now the wind is kicking up fierce. If it keeps up, soon things, like trees, will start to topple over because the soil is so saturated. Not all the light boxes in the world could help with how this wet winter affects me. I love my town, but I seriously wonder if a sunnier climate would be a healthier place to live for us. I admire those people who can live so effortlessly in the colder regions of Earth.

Tivo is great, but Tru gets annoyed how it changes the channel on him mid show. So I got another converter box and split the signal for our digital cable. Now Tivo has its very own converter box to play around with and suggest shows that I'm not interested in. :O)

I posted some old songs of mine on mySpace. Check it out

I had some lychee for dessert this evening. Along with fookies, this fruit makes life a bit more pleasurable.

I worked out 5 days in a row this week. I like my belly, but I'm a diabetic, so it was a necessity to get back on track. No worries Andy, buffness is not in my future.

I wish I could be witty and eloquent. I wish I could see my friends more.

That much rain is just wrong. I don't mind rain at all, but I do like to be reminded that there is a sun up there somewheres.

Your friends want to see you more, too!

Hi Terry! You may remember me as the short fellow that stands next to Garth a lot. We've chatted under other circumstances as well, but thats how I get most people to remember LOL.

And yes, this much rain is obscene. I don't ever want to get out of bed when its like this. Ugh.

Going through our box of tapes we actually found a Magnetic Bicycle Craft tape. Unfortunately it was after we traded our cassette deck for Sonic Youth tickets :P

We should combine powers and convince Andy to visit Washington again. That'd be swell.

It reminds me of that movie from the 70s that set in the future, or another planet or something where it rains non stop, and this kid does her report on this mythical "sun" that makes things grow. All the other kids laugh at her and say she's evil for suggesting the sun exists. She gets in a fight and they lock her in a room for a time out. Later in the day, the sun magically comes out and the flowers start blooming. The kids are amazed and run out to play, while the girl locked in the room barely sees the sunlight creep under the door. The sun only last for less than an hour and it goes away again behind the never ending rain, and the girl never got to experience it. Kind of a cruel movie that I thought no one else knew about, until I mentioned it at work one day and it turns out everyone knew about it.

When you come visit bring the Sun with you, will ya? :O)

Hey Tom! Of course I remember you. :O) I've been meaning to e-mail you and Garth since we ran into you in Seattle a few months back, but I'm a horribly lazy man. But, I hope to do better..

I think a tape deck is a worthy sacrifice for Sonic Youth tickets. That old MBC tape is only worth keeping for the nostalgic picture of my little hip-hop boom box on the cover. I wish I could say that many nights it was LL Cool J on that boom box, but the truth is that it was many nights of Glass Tiger.

I'm all for convincing Andy to make a trip this way.
