I've had chronic nosebleeds since I was a child, too. My mother threatened for years that the moment I turned 13, she was going to march me down to the doctor for cauterization. It never happened, and I came to believe that such a horrible procedure was some old wive's cure or some relic of the 1950s.
A lot of my issues stemmed from allergies and constant sneezing. I'd sit up in bed, sneeze, and then start bleeding. Every morning. And once that started, I would bleed randomly. Curiously, in the past couple of years it seemed I would get a nosebleed every time I stepped inside a Best Buy. Perhaps it was a sign. LOL
I'm on pricy but fairly effective meds now so the past few months have been miraculously blood-free. Getting a nosebleed every day, or in the middle of the night, or when you're driving, or when you're working just sucks ass.
I once had a nosebleed that lasted for nearly eight hours. I wasn't so sure I wasn't going to die. The fact that I'm constantly sexually aroused couldn't possibly have helped matters, either.
