Well, my new found resolve to start posting again has fallen among the depression wayside, but I was wondering if anyone could help me out.

It's me and my partner's 8th anniversary in a couple of days, and I totally stumped on a gift. The traditional gifts for 8 years in linen or lace, while the modern is brass or pottery. I have no idea what I can do with that. Any suggestions?

A lace teddy, maybe. Or a lovely potting wheel where you can recreate that scene from Ghost? ;)

seriously... what about one of those meditation fountain thingies... they make them in both brass and pottery as I recall.

Hey Sean, thanks :O) The lace tedd... I mean, the meditation fountain is a great idea! The pottery wheel is a sexy thought too, but the clay may be hard to get out of chest hair ;O)
